Thank you challengers for fighting the good fight, I truly wish you had prevailed. I admire your committment.

Interesting editorial today in the CDA Press; "Turnout Tells a Sad Story". Then a little ways down is this little gem;
"City council elections, in our view, are atop the importance scale because of their impact on local property taxes, public safety, economic development and, perhaps most of all, our sense of community and pride in where we live."

Gee Mr. Patrick or should we call you Gumby, as you both share the no spine thing. Maybe if the local paper did their job and followed up on a story or two the voters would have had a clearer picture of what was at stake and who the people were who were running for election. But when the chips are down and there was hard news to report the CDA Press was AWOL. As usual. Grow a pair Mike, take a stand, you'd be surprised how good you'll feel and you'll be giving your subscribers their money's worth for a change.

I wish he challengers best of luck. I hope the CDA voter turnout is better than past elections, their very livelihoods could depend on it. Citizens deserve the government they vote for. It's time to get rid of the cabal especially part time thug and full time pansy kennedy. Meaning no disrespect to the flower.

Parasites occur naturally. They are opportunistic organisms that have carved out a neat if unscrupulous lifestyle. They live, thrive and reproduce not having to provide for themselves. They are little organisms that invade unsuspecting hosts and set up housing inside of them. There they live for free at times sucking the very life from their unwitting provider. There are a huge variety of parasites. Amoeba, leeches and flagellum to name a few But they all live by exploiting their hosts.

CdA has parasites... in City Hall. There we have elected officials using the lifeblood of our city for their own benefits. They take the money fed to the city by its hard working citizens and they shift it into their own agendas. If the law says they can't or implies they shouldn't, they don't stop. They just get creative and find ways to sidestep the intent of any laws that stand in their way. They are fat and they are arrogant pathogens. Sadly they are also deeply entrenched and devious pathogens. Tomorrow is an opportunity to rid the city of parasites. VOTE. Make sure everyone you know votes. It is time to de-worm CdA city hall. Not one incumbent should remain.
