Clean Sweep at City Hall!

Filed under: General — mary @ 1:01 pm

cartoonist copyBill posted this over the weekend, but then there were issues with the images.  So, here we go again.  The great cartoon, shown below, was created by one of our readers, a retired artist, Adrian Jund.  Thanks so much for sharing your energy and talent, Adrian!

  1. Is the guy with the long blonde hair,
whose in bed with the good ole’boys,
Woody McEvers? Ya’ know the guy who said:”If you can’t trust gov’t, who can you trust”. 😉

  3. Who is the person with the gray hair in bed with the Good ‘Ol Boys?

  4. The talent of a great artist is to generate those kinds of questions. The really great ones leave a little mystery in their imagery.

Leaving out the white-haired person in the bed, what is the next mystery image, the one maybe least obvious or least clear at first glance? Here’s a hint at where I’m going with that question: Adrian Jund’s original drawing was monochrome, not color. Don’t be distracted by color.

  5. I particularly like the “deaf ears”, but there’s little mystery there. I did wonder about the “Law”. Why do you think it’s depicted like that?

  6. Might one of those persons in bed be the one who declared that the council doesn’t respond to people who take the time to study the issues and speak at council meetings because they think that they are political? What in depth thought process takes place for that determination?
