OpenCdA Housekeeping

Filed under: Probable Cause — Bill @ 7:25 pm

OpenCdA gets as many as 30 new subscribers daily, but most of them are automatically generated by bots promoting some product or service.  Consequently, we regularly go through our list of registered users and delete those phantom registrants which appear to be spammers.

If you have registered to comment on OpenCdA but find yourself unable to login, you may have been unceremoniously deleted by my very subjective judgment or by my bleary-eyed checking the wrong registrant to delete.  Remember, we don’t require anything other than a valid email address to register, and one of the things I don’t want to do is send a spammer our email address to see if he/she/it is a valid registrant.  So, if you have a problem commenting after you have registered, please send Mary or me an email with your valid username and email address. We’ll work with you to get you registered.  Thanks!
