DTV Conversion Tidbit

tv-antenna Most people know that between February 17th and June 12th all US TV stations will convert from analog to digital transmission.  If you have specific questions about how the conversion may affect you, go to The Digital TV Transition website.  Click here to find out how strong over-the-air signals will be at your exact address.

  1. They said on the news the other night that there were to many people just not ready for the switch. That is why they put it off until June.

IMHO, what they are REALLY saying is, people will miss to many commercials telling them what to do and what to buy. Heaven forbid people miss advertising commercials. People need to pull their heads out of their DTV and start living life as it was intended and get back to reality. NOT soap operas, reality shows and commercials.

  2. I understand that all the Spokane television stations had agreed to make the switch on February 17 as scheduled, but then one station’s management backed off. You’re probably correct that the reason for the delay has more to do with economic advantage and less to do with concern for the public’s access to essential information.
