Not Afraid to Speak Out

Filed under: Probable Cause — Bill @ 2:32 pm

u-of-i-sealThe Idaho Statesman  headline on the Associated Press story reads UI professor questions money spent in New Mexico.  The essence of the story may be in its last line attributed to professor David Egolf:

“I’m very fed up,” Egolf said, adding other faculty members agree with him but are afraid to come forward. “I’m the only person that speaks out. I’m a Vietnam veteran. I’m not afraid of anything.”

  1. It takes courage to stand up and say what you believe. Guts is something lacking in today’s culture, especially when intimidation and bullying comes from the government. Bravo for Professor Egolf!

You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.
