Pariah: Respect the little people

Filed under: General — mary @ 10:28 am

Look Again

Look Again

Last week, under my thread titled “Transparency?”, Pariah commented that regular folks, or “little people” as he called us, are not given attention by those we have elected at every level of government.  Do you agree?  Any examples?  Here is his comment:

At every level the political class has determined that they have little or no need to pay attention to us ‘little people’. Their contempt for us is real and palpable. They are setting the stage for a very ugly end game.

  1. I consider myself one of the “little” or regular people. What Pariah is saying is true. We are like knats – they ignore us the best they can, but really they just want to swat us. They consider us beneath them and we are not entitled to due process or justice, we have to claw for it because we don’t have the connections or money and that is how they like it. Some people like the folks on this blog who have creditials are hammered at every turn on some other media to be sure your message stays put so that business as usual continues.

FYI, yesterday and today the Judicial Trial Court Administrators have a meeting and the Judicial Aministrative Conference. Patti Tobias, Director of the Courts, who recentlylet me know to send all correspondence to Michale Henderson to curtail the amount of emails to Jodi is on the Administrative Conference. She is not allowing our state employees to give us anymore information for some reason.

Here are the Trial Court Administrator participants and we are represented by Karlene Berhinger – District 1 who protects the judges, not the citizens.

    Burton Butler
    Hon. Jay Gaskill (Acting)
    Karlene Behringer
    Suzanne Johnson
    Corrie Keller
    Dan Kessler
    Larry Reiner
    Patti Tobias
    Linda Wright
    John Peay, Reporter

These guys form the Administrative Conference Judical Committee: Karlene is also on this one along with Debra Heise who is a Magistrate Judge in District 1. Just so you know, neither one of these two know how to protect confidential and private – personal information. Patti Tobias is also on both of these committees as well as Michael Henderson, Deputy Attorney General for Idaho.

    Chair: Hon. Daniel T. Eismann
    Karlene Behringer
    Hon. Debra Heise
    Hon. Roger Burdick
    Burton W. Butler
    Hon. Jay Gaskill
    Hon. Gregory Culet
    Cathy Derden
    Hon. Kathryn Sticklen
    Michael Henderson
    Hon. John Luster
    Hon. Ryan Boyer
    Hon. Joel Horton
    Suzanne Johnson
    Hon. Jim Jones
    Corrie Keller
    Stephen Kenyon
    Hon. Jeff Brudie
    Dan Kessler
    Hon. Brent Moss
    John Peay
    Hon. Karen Lansing
    Larry Reiner
    Hon. Peter McDermott
    Patricia Tobias
    Hon. Darla S. Williamson
    Hon. Rick Bollar
    Hon. Warren Jones
    Hon. Barry Wood
    Linda Wright

They are all down in Boise now. Their meetings were at the Center on the Grove and in the Capitol Basement because so many rooms were already in use. We will not know what they are discussing unless we get the minutes, which at this point are being witheld from me/us. I wonder what they had for lunch? Patti Tobias did mention in some of the meeting minutes I did receive, that because of budget restrictions these meeting would be held through teleconferencing – I guess the budget is not that bad. I wonder what they had for lunch?

  2. Also, judicial competence is not just messed up here in North Idaho – it’s down south too. The mindset is almost barbaric. One of the judges who is on the Adminstrative Conference Committee actually ordered that a defendant have his mouth sealed with duct tape this last spring instead of removing him from the court. He was also considered mentally ill. (the defendant) This was in most papers nationally but was hardly covered in Idaho. I believe McDermott is voluntaringly retiring now, in lieu of dicipline, but not sure.

Yep, there are some real minds out there at work.

The bailiffs then found a roll of duct tape, tore off a piece and put it over Frasure’s mouth, according to the Idaho State Journal.

“He’s obviously not mentally competent,” Frasure’s lawyer Kent Reynolds told the judge.

Okay, I am going to give this all a rest for now – but this was just too priceless not to share.

  3. Mike Kennedy told me that the mayor and council do not respect me.

  4. Well, Susie that statement by Mike Kennedy is absolutely inane – of all people not to respect – you? You must be too honest.

  5. Give Mikey credit, he told the truth. He doesn’t respect the average person. Unless you are one of the Inside Connections you are dirt beneath his feet.

  6. Thanks, Stebbijo.
Pariah, Please note that he included the mayor and council in his diatribe.

  7. Indeed and I believe him. That isn’t always the case but this time I take him at face value.

Were I subject to that kind of loathsome attack by an elected I would be pleased as punch. It would mean that another corrupt politician was so irritated at being exposed that they stooped to a personal attack and that would mean I had been effective in exposing them, their lies and corruptions. Good job Susie.
