Open Session, Thursday

IMGP4845 All kinds of action for a late summer week:  Candidates announcing bids for city elections, the jail bond coming forward again and the cities and county revealing their budget proposals.

Any comments, questions or ideas?

  1. I attended the ribbon cutting ceremony at Lakes Middle School this evening. To say the remodeling has made a substantial change for the better in this school is an understatement. The rooms are well designed with state of the art equipment. All this has taken place within an extremely limited time frame. I thank the School Board and the District for this accomplishment.
Take the time to tour the school.

  2. Limited time frame and limited budget…a great example of how efficiently our system can work when need be. Congrats to all who made it happen, and congrats to the voters who stood their ground and demanded the most from their tax dollars.
