A recent article and editorial in the CDA Press describe how Democratic candidate Bev Moss will soon be replaced by another person to challenge Republican Marge Chadderdon for Legislative District 4, Seat A. Any speculation on who the mystery person could be?

The editorial says this: “While placeholding is legal, some question its propriety. On its face it seems deceitful.”
It sure does to me.

There’s nothing wrong with it, and hopefully when the candidate steps forward we’ll hear of the reason for the placeholder. E.g., when someone may have a conflict or something that needs resolved. Then again, if such a thing exists, should someone consider really running for office? I question their priorities and whether they’re in this for self-promotion or to actually serve the taxpayers.

Mike Kennedy?

I think Kennedy would be the logical choice, and the strongest contender. Others have thought so as well, but it’s reported elsewhere that Mr. Kennedy is not the mystery man.
