Citizens to Inform Voters Informs

Filed under: General — Dan Gookin @ 1:15 pm

Great hay was made last week about the Citizens to Inform Voters PAC, a political action group formed to promote the County Commissioner races. Today in the CDA Press, the PAC released the information they promised.

Many had erroneously put the $8,000 dollars raised by Citizens to Inform voters in the Tom Cronin column. But as noted in the ad (seen on page A12 of the Press), the group is “non partisan and unaffiliated.”

  1. This looks bogus to me. It appears Cronin has way more credentials than the other two candidates. I wonder why?

  2. I’m having trouble enlarging this
PAC information brochure,so I can read it.I know there’s only so much room on this website.I really want to vote this tuesday.

    I’m intrigued about this new-comer,
Jai Nelson.Sounds like a grassroots candidate to me,which is good for the people. They tend to represent the
populace more, than better established candidates. I’ve only found one negative on her so far.

  3. Apologies, kageman. The image was reduced on purpose so that it would fix on the page and not dominate things; no larger size is available, outside of the newspaper.

I agree with you: Jai Nelson is a breath of fresh air.

  4. Let’s not get carried away folks with Jai Nelson. She is outspoken about establishing a county administrator. Currie and PiZAzza are not going to do it. Tondee and Cronin are for it. She would tip the balance. If you don’t understand all the bad about a county administrator by now, you have not been paying attention.

  5. The problem is; we can all find negatives about every candidate out there.Gary just mentioned the ‘one’
negative on Jai Nelson that I mentioned in my comment. In the new political section of the CDA Press,
    she even endorses having a(5)member
Board of County Commissioners for kootenai County.I find having a administrator or 5 member board unacceptable. We do not have the population of Boise.

You tell me Gary,do I vote for the guy (Currie)who gave himself a $5000
raise or do I vote for the guy(cronin)who’ll want to build a new jail in PF,like Rocky wants to and give all the police raises.Even though were in the middle of a recession.

Jai Nelson is for responsible and manageable growth and that’s my no.1 priority for this CDA area.
