Any ideas, comments or questions as we start into the weekend?

  1. Happy Valentines Day to all my friends; you know who you are. So, while we all are entertained and inspired by the athletes going for the gold, let’s not forget that tomorrow resumes the quest for warriors who must stop the impending collapse of our economy. The avalanche of debt our government has amassed will bury us as early as ten years, according to some experts. Who will win the gold for this epic challenge? We don’t even know rules for the game yet.

  2. Gary, what is that new avatar you have?

We are still holding our breath, waiting for the avalanche of taxes which will come from the obscene spending of our government. And apparently they’re not done yet. They still seem to think they can spend their way into prosperity!

  3. Has Troy Tymesen issued his forecast for income for 2010-2011? City budget workshops should begin soon. Are there any thoughts on this issue?

  4. Mary, kinda scary, isn’t it. Don’t know what he is thinking and that’s the whole point. But, where did you see it? I don’t see it up yet?

  5. Gary, what is your avatar? Are you referring to Tymeson’s upcoming city budget or the federal government continuing to spend in a proposed bill? The “jobs” bill was just killed by Harry Reid, but I don’t think they’re done, I think they’ve got more spending bills coming…
