  1. So what is the opposite of increment?

  2. According to Wiki Answers on the internet, the opposite of “increment” is “decrement”, which means decreasing in number, size, quantity, or extent.

    Why do you ask?

  3. Hmmm. Using a dictionary to discover what words mean. How much of an annual salary do I need to figure that one out?

  4. Let me just clarify: Increment means to increase. Its opposite, decrement, means to decrease. That makes sense.

What does “excrement” mean? It means waste matter pushed out. No direct relation to the other verbs.

  5. Geeze, what a bunch of Dummies! In government spending, increment means collecting tax from increased value. Excrement is what the taxpayers get when it’s spent. I thought everybody knew that.

  6. You’re right about that, Gary! But the reason we’re having this seemingly silly conversation will be explained soon.

  7. It’s not the weekend, but it’s an open session thread.

I thought I read/saw somewhere that Inland Northwest Bank was the bank associated with the Education Corridor and that in the published entries of Bern’s check register there was several thousand dollars already allocated for the project and in the bank? Anyone have that?

I found this link where Katie Brodie is the North Idaho Field Rep appointed by the Governor. I also know she is a past county commissioner. What I also found out she is on the board of director of the Inland Northwest Bank. In view of the ‘connections’ within the LCDC and Mountain West Bank, I thought this was another interesting ‘connection.’

We really need a vote on these matters when certain players stand to gain all of the financial incentive for being involved and the only choice the people get is to pay.

  8. @Stebbijo –
I wouldn’t imagine that a bank would post information about deposits made towards any account listed with them, since that is a federal crime (unless it’s done through a subpoena or at the customer’s request). I wasn’t able to locate anything verifying the information you posted. If I’m wrong, please let me know.

    Thanks!
