As expected, there were several political entrants in Coeur d’Alene’s 2010 Independence Day Parade.   Have you ever known a politician to miss a chance to be seen and cheered and to wave the flag?

Just as with yesterday’s post, these photos are in no particular order.

  1. You know, Lisa had mentioned how bright pink that Jeep was, the one that Lt. Gov. Brad Little was riding in. She forgot to tell me about the lovely pink scarf that adorned Mr. Little’s neck. Attractive, but not very masculine.

  2. Yeah but I met Brad Little and talked with him before the parade…he can wear a pink bandanna, ride in a pink Jeep and still keep his cowboy aura!

  3. I think it is a breast cancer awareness scarf. Male and female rodeo participants wear pink shirts for breast cancer awareness. This campaign was started a couple of years ago.

  4. Why didnt Sandy inforce the law that was being broken during the whole parade right in front of her?

Lori Otter was throwing candy to the children while her Sandyness was right behind her on a trike.

Oh — I’m sorry, I forgot, Lori is of the right crowd and the rules are different for the Good ole boys and girls.
