I was worried. I thought they had our number and we were toast.
Fortunately, I was wrong. None of the 600 Starbucks store closures are in northern Idaho.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Lattes all around!

Given all the coffee bars we have in town, and all the excellent coffee offered, I wonder what percentage of it belongs to Starbucks? I’d bet it’s pretty small overall.

My wife has to have her chocolate latte, almost every other day at
the espresso stands.Costs around $3.50-$4.00 and because, were in a recession, she should cut down on this expensive habit, before she gets too addicted.

Maybe we need to start a “You know you’re addicted to Starbucks when…” post.
You know you’re addicted to Starbucks when you’ve programmed every existing Starbucks store into your car’s GPS.
You know you’re addicted to Starbucks when you choose your motels based on their proximity to a Starbucks store.

My husband loves to tell the story of when he was living in Seattle back in the 70’s and went to the original and only Starbuck’s near the Pike Street Market. He saw them making something with milk and steam so, instead of ordering his usual regular coffee, he ordered one of those “lattes”. He now bemoans the fact that he didn’t ask them right there and then if he could invest in the company! (of course he didn’t have two nickles to rub together at that time either)
