A great weekend in CdA. Lots of activities and a busy week coming up. The final CdA School District community meeting is this Tuesday, July 22nd at 7:00 in the morning at the district’s Midtown Center. They have done such a great job with the first 3 meetings, I hope they continue to get a good turnout for this one. It’s open format, open questions. Bring ’em on. Hazel is there to answer any and all. What a role model.

Last fall,I talked to the mayor of Athol,who moved here from California
17 years ago and has been the mayor of Athol for the last 12 years.He told me he hates all this growth,the CDA area has seen and hopes the migration to N.I.will slow down considerably,the next several years.
As a native,I completely agree with that sentiment.In his heart the mayor is a native idahoan.BTW-he makes a whopping $75/bucks a month as mayor of Athol.

I’ve been busy with family as well as a humongous book I’m working on. I also forgot to put on my sun block the other day and I have a nice pink sunburn. So if you see me out and about, don’t say anything about me looking overly pink as I am sensitive about it. 🙂
