Oh boy Wally, you must be dancing in the street this morning.
Cost of living higher than here? Not too many states charge sales tax for lifes most needed staple…food.
But hey Wally, you must belong to the “I’ve got mine, the heck with the rest of you group”. Your posts on this subject reek of, plainly put, jealousy! If you want to “get even” with someone you believe has more than you, try me. I have fully paid (nothing out of my pocket) private health, dental and vision insurance. My major medical deductible is $500./yr, max $2500./yr. How did this happen? I worked for it, didn’t moan about those who seemed to have a better deal. Just worked and tried to be financially responsible. While doing this I also remembered that I OWED those who weren’t in the same place as I. People without children contributed, with their taxes, to my childrens education. Now I do the same. I’m not an altruistic goody goody, far from it. But I do believe in the saying, to those whom much has been given, much is required.
And by the way, I have been an anti-union Republican all of my life.
