What’s the Price of Gas?

Filed under: OpenCdA Poll — Dan Gookin @ 12:01 am

Four months ago, we conducted a poll here on OpenCdA. The question was what the price of gas would be in November. Well, Hello! It’s November. Let’s see how well the on-line poll did.

  1. I filled up Yesterday at Costco for $2.30/gal, though I saw plenty of places in town at $2.29. It will go lower, of course. As humans we do seem to be a pessimistic lot, at least according to the poll results above.

  2. Amazing! Now if I could only remember how I voted…

  3. I voted “less than $3.50” but I still don’t credit myself with any clairvoyance; obviously had I seriously thought the price of gas would be closer to $2 than $3 I would have included that as an option in the poll!

  4. $5.00 pessimists! I think I voted less than $3.50 earlier this year, but then I have superior knowledge about these kind of things! 🙂

  7. I just saw that too, Dan, over on Gov. Way and Kathleen. But then at the Safeway a block south it was $2.21…strange because that Safeway is usually one of the lowest. But it’s amazing we have seen gas below $2.00/gallon, who would have thunk it?
