Open Session, Weekend

Filed under: General — mary @ 3:18 pm

firetruck in winter parade, CdA Gary Ingram wants an Open Session to mention the new Cop Shop in City Park that was apparently used for the first time yesterday. See his comment posted below.  I’d like to say the Parade and Fireworks were great, and the light snow made it even prettier. The photo is of the firetruck, covered in minilights, with two lighted reindeer “pulling” it…cute.   Any other comments or ideas or compliments?

  1. A little off topic as there is not an open line Saturday today, but Christi Wood posts on HBO about the so called Public Safety Hut in service during the downtown festivities. Worth a read. No heat, but they survived with a space heater, it says.

  2. Mary,

If you have more photos, please post them.

Anyone else, if you have digital photos of the parade or pyrotechnics, email them to me as a .jpg or .png file and I’ll post them. Be sure to include your name so we can give you photo credit. They must be your photos, though.

  3. Hi,

Would Bill please repost the directions to get the report and financial data of non-profits off the Idaho Secretary of State site? I tried and could only find “report” data, not the financials. I may have missed something. Please.

  4. Stebbijo,

The Idaho Secretary of State’s site does not have the financial information you’re probably looking for.

A limited amount of financial information about non-profits required to file IRS Form 990 is at http://www.guidestar.org/. You will have to register, but basic registration is free. If you want more, you have to pay the price, and the price is very high.

  5. Thanks Bill.

I was checking out Kootenai Medical Foundation. They have disclosures relating to timeshares and rental properties that are not really explained and I wonder why the public is donating to this cause. If they are putting up folks in need then it is understandable but the time share has me questioning some things.

Thanks for the information. I forgot about guidestar.
