Open Session, Weekend

Filed under: General — mary @ 3:18 pm

firetruck in winter parade, CdA Gary Ingram wants an Open Session to mention the new Cop Shop in City Park that was apparently used for the first time yesterday. See his comment posted below.  I’d like to say the Parade and Fireworks were great, and the light snow made it even prettier. The photo is of the firetruck, covered in minilights, with two lighted reindeer “pulling” it…cute.   Any other comments or ideas or compliments?

Comments, Please

The online agenda for the Coeur d’Alene General Services Committee meeting today shows that Parks Director Doug Eastwood plans to ask the Council to include a line item in the City financial plan to help the Coeur d’Alene City Parks Foundation pay its expenses.   The Foundation is a non-profit (IR Code 501(c)(3)), private corporation.  Is Eastwood’s proposal appropriate?
